Loch
Sport is a part of the Sale Police response zone.
Sale Police Station is a twenty four hour establishment situated
at 58-60 York Street, Sale.
A police building was recently
opened at Loch Sport and is prominently located at the entrance
of town. The facility is the refurbished former Churchill Police
Station and is used for police business occasionally during
the year and for the whole of the summer school holiday period.

When the facility is unattended calls to this number are automatically
diverted to the Police Communications Centre for the area at
Morwell.
Residents and visitors in Loch
Sport who become victims of crime are encouraged to report all
incidents, however minor. Telephone reporting of crime is available
for damage to property and theft type offences, with certain
criteria. Police will always attend when requested.

Loch Sport has an active Neighbourhood
Watch which meets monthly on the second Monday of the month
at 1.30 pm at the community centre.
The Loch Sport Neighbourhood Watch
holds their monthly meetings on the
second Monday of each month at the Health Centre, corner of
Graham Street and National Park Road at 1.30 pm.
The prime purpose of Neighbouhood Watch
is working with the local police in "Creating Safer Communities".

and Richard Maurice is the Editor of the Monthly Newsletter.
