Patches over body in shades of brown to blackish. Scaleless skin, lots of poisonous spines in the fins as well as on the side of the head.
Grows to approx 23 cm.

Not suitable for any purpose, return to water.

Spring, Summer, Autumn.

Sandworms, small baits.

Not edible.

Very few of this species caught. Return to water.
Be careful of the poisonous spines.
