Sharkman's Fishing Diary
Our Fishing Reports are factual from people who actually fish the area. Unlike some fishing sites who just copy stuff that is weeks old and claim it as their own.
If the fishing has been bad we say so and do not pretend otherwise just to get you here. Reports are updated weekly, usually Thursdays.

Gales have affected fishing conditions lately with weed coming in from the rough conditions in Bass Strait. The channel is reasonably good. Very little has been caught, only a small salmon or two and one lucky fisher caught a gummy about one metre in the middle of the afternoon.

9am - No wind, sea reasonably calm with some turbulence in the channel, loads of kelp in the water. Several fishers only pulling in weed, no fish. The beach actually looks more like a moonscape than anything else - so rugged and wind blown.

Only small spotty salmon and a few mullet have been caught lately. Wednesday fishers reported Golden Beach full of weed so we don't want Southerly winds!
