Our
Fishing Reports are factual from people who
actually fish the area. Unlike some fishing sites who just
copy stuff that is weeks old and claim it as their own.
If
the fishing has been bad we say so and do not pretend otherwise
just to get you here. Reports are updated weekly, usually

For
days there have been big swells, water washing up to
the dunes at high tide making night fishing dangerous.
After overnight gales which have caused a step of at
least a metre to have been washed out of part of the
beach. The surf is now calm but only a shallow channel
exists. Some good catches of salmon over the past week,
also small spotties. Draughtboard sharks and skate are
a bit of a nuisance. |

Good bags of large salmon to 3.5kgs were caught this

fact on many occasions fishers have left the beach empty
handed.
The channel is now deep and wide, conditions appear
